Final House for 2011

Yes, I know it is 2012,
but I finally finished my last house for The Dollhouse Project.
Can you guess what it is?
Now let's think about what I usually write about on Thursday's?
Hummmmm?
Could it be something related to tea?
Why of course, I say.
It's a tea cozy,
just waiting with a fluffy inside to keep my next pot of tea warm.
This is a second life, as it once was a winter sweater.
It became full of holes, but still it could be used
as a re-purposed tea cozy.
Oh yes, re-purposed seems to be a theme this week.
Enjoy finding new life for old things around your house,
it is quite fun!

This cozy is just TOO, too sweet, Marilyn! Very fun design--I love it! And I like that it's made form recycled bits. I love recycling and upcycling things, it's a fun challenge. :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))

What an adorable cozy. I have a plain red velour one made by my mother for me about 40 years ago!! I may pinch your idea Marilyn and embellish it similarly - if OK with you! I can imagine turning it into a little cottage and giving it a new lease on life..............I always love it when I have something of my late mother's in view.

Have you tried Empress Grey tea Marilyn? I had it today - actually bought it in the Spring when home in the UK - had a friend to tea today and opened the packet. Wow - it was so good, very different from Earl Grey!

That's pretty brillian. Oh, dear. Now I'm looking at this felted purse on my desk that was so not good that I cut it into a large rectangle last weekend. I hope it's big enough to add some hot glue (I don't sew) or bad stitches to fit over my small pot! Thanks! Yet another project in the to-do list!

That is very clever, and very pretty too. I love how you re-purposed this sweater; it has been reborn into a lovely tea cozy. Any teapot would be proud to call this home!

Each little house has been my favorite along the way, but THIS one is the bomb! Maybe because I passionately love tea and red is perfect for cold winter days.

If you made more they would sell. One for me, please!!

Thank you for all of it, my friend. You have a heart as big as the sky.

xo, Graciel
