Secret Garden

Do you ever dream of a secret garden where you can go?
A place where the flowers are taller that you.
A place where you can hide away and dream dreams or
sing a song.
Join me today as we dream the dreams of a slow summer day
sitting under the flowers.
Follow me as we discover the sweet cottage tucked away in the forest.
Do you see it?  It is waiting for us.
Will we just sit and soak in the smells of the flowers,
chat a bit, or take a nap?
Take joy today in the simple things.

What an absolutely beautiful post Marilyn! I would love to find that garden, and spend my day stitching under the shade of the flowers.

Lovely post dear Marilyn. How wonderful it all sounds and would love to simply sit for hours, just me the flowers and sunshine.

Lovely flowers. I love this time of year when the gardens are in full bloom...til summer's heat makes them look old and tired.

Of course, you've read the classic "The Secret Garden,", right? One of my favorite books of all-time. This post reminded me of that...a secret little garden getaway where one is refreshed and renewed.

Blessings,
Patti

PS I understand about your friend's desire to keep her recipes a secret. But if she ever writes that teabook, let me know.

Dear Marilyn,
Taking joy and spending time for the simple things is just what the doctor ordered!
Sounds like a winner to me.

Yes, I have given thought about a dream garden such as you have shared.
God bless,

I'm on a search for a sweet cottage tucked into some lovely little corner of a neighborhood. I hope it's waiting for me.

I love that you were a flower child in SF. Do tell us more about that some day. Please?
